Ashley Stopper Knot – The Easy Way

For some reason the knot-tying resources on the internet make the Ashley stopper more difficult than it needs to be. Here’s the simple three-step method I use to tie it.

Step 2. Put the left-hand loop through the top of the right-hand loop.

Step 3: Put the tail through the top of the loop that just came through.

Always check for the signature trefoil arrangement, and make sure that it is well-tightened. That’s it!
